Goodell handed a 6 game suspension to Elliott for unproven accounts of domestic abuse, with unproven being the key word here. But it didn’t matter if the claims against Elliott were baseless, the collective bargaining agreement between the league and it’s players grants Goodell that type of power. But since Jones decided that there was no way on Earth he was going to let this suspension go through, he tried to use Elliott to further his agenda.
The only US online sportsbook problem is that the fight against the suspension, like many were predicting, ended in an utter failure. What’s worse is the fact that Elliott is now sidelined half way through the season when his team needed him most.
