Apart from searching for the best online sportsbook for American players, NFL betting fans should also be on the lookout for great some great odds on the spread line. Betting the spread not only allows football betting players to make bets with a little extra wiggle room, it also allows bettors to cash in on some better odds, when betting on the favorite, than they would be able to on the money line. So, with Week 4 of the 2017 online NFL betting season right around the corner, what are the top sportsbook spread betting options of the weekend?

Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers

The Bears and Packers will go toe to toe this Thursday bringing us another rendition of the NFL’s oldest rivalry. Chicago comes into this contest with a 1-2 record that ranks them last in the NFC North. Green Bay on the other hand, is tied with the Vikings and Lions for the lead in the North at 2-1. However, the Bears are coming off a big time upset over the Pittsburgh Steelers and will be ready to give Green Bay hell this weekend.

The line is set at -7 for the Pack. However, Green Bay barely managed to beat the Bengals by 3 this past weekend. Additionally, the Packers are 1-2 against the spread this season while the Bears are 2-1. Being that this is a divisional game and will be one tough contest to win, your top sportsbook option is to stick with Chicago.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Seattle Seahawks

This might be one of the most questionable lines of the weekend. The Seahawks are currently pegged as 13 point favorites over the Colts. I’m not sure who decided to peg Seattle, the league’s 27th best scoring offense, as 13 point favorites over the 1-2 Colts. Granted, Indianapolis is giving up an average of 30 points per game, but then again the Hawks are only putting up an average of 16 per outing. They might have home field advantage this Sunday, but that online sportsbook line is questionable at best. The payout on the Colts is currently set at -110.

Buffalo Bills vs. Atlanta Falcons

The 2-1 Bills are shaping up to be a great team but even great teams can’t beat the Falcons at home. Atlanta is pegged as a -420 favorite straight up, however picking them on the spread allows NFL betting fans to cash in on a -105 payout that is practically guaranteed. It should be mentioned that Atlanta will need to win by at least 8. The Falcons have only played one home game this season and they came out on top by 11. It stands to reason that they’ll do so again this Sunday.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore is a tough place to get a win, especially when you happen to share a division with them. However, the Steelers are coming off a humbling 23-17 loss to the Chicago Bears and the incessant headlines surrounding Pittsburgh regarding anthem protests has left this team both hungry and ready to get back to some football. Unlikely for the Ravens, they’re the team the Steelers will be taking their frustration out. Baltimore is coming off a 44-7 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars and it’s safe to assume that an offense consisting of Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown will have no problem running up the scoreboard. Pittsburgh is pegged as a -3 favorite with a -105 payout.
