Many online sportsbooks players were picking the Green Bay Packers to take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season. But after watching the Packers struggle on the road against the Atlanta Falcons, many NFL sportsbook betting fans feel like Green Bay might be a tad bit overrated. But was their Week 2 loss a sign of weakness? Or were the Packers crippled by injuries? Cincinnati Bengals vs. Green Bay Packers – Sunday, September 24th
Venue: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisconsin
Start Time: 4:25 pm ET
TV Broadcast: CBS
Online Streaming Options: CBS Sports, NFL Game Pass
In this past Saturday’s contest versus the Falcons, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers’ offense had to contend without two starting offensive tackles. Needless to say, in a brand new stadium with a crowd that is notorious for providing deafening resonance, Green Bay’s offensive line – which had little to no experience playing alongside the substitutes, had a hard time being on the same page. The Packers suffered multiple false starts on the day and Green Bay finished with 2 turnovers on the day. Additionally, the Packers lost key wide receiver and defensive tackle Mike Daniels – who plays a pivotal role in Green Bay’s pass rush, were both sidelined in the 1st quarter with injuries. With so many crucial players sitting out, the Packers didn’t stand an online NFL betting chance against the reigning NFC Champions.
The Bengals come into this matchup sporting a disappointing 0-2 record and already facing a considerable deficit in the AFC North standings. Cincinnati was competitive in both games, but it was really their defense that kept them in it. Starting quarterback Andy Dalton has been playing poorly and has naturally received harsh criticism online from disgruntled Bengals’ fans. A win against an elite team like the Packers would do a lot to rejuvenate a discouraged fan base.

Betting Cincinnati
In Week 1, the Bengals lost 20-0 to the Ravens and then suffered a 13-9 loss to the Houston Texans the following week. The Bengals had an opportunity to win both games, but clearly their offense – which currently ranks dead last in points per game, could not put any significant points on the board. The Bengals haven’t scored a touchdown all year and there’s no guarantee they’ll score one this weekend.
Betting Green Bay
The Packers will be looking to rebound from a tough online sportsbook loss to a challenging opponent. Green Bay has the offensive weapons to put on a show and NFL betting players can expect Rodgers – who has delivered 3 turnovers in the last 2 games, to be on point this Sunday.
Best Offshore Sportsbook Bets to Make: The spread line seems a little iffy and there’s not much value to be had on the Packers. Under on the totals line makes the most amount of sense.
