The best sportsbooks for US players have the San Francisco 49ers are odds-on faves to win the NFC West. The Niners lost wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, who signed with the New Orleans Saints. Other than that departure, San Fran has been stocking up on receivers. They resigned Kendrick Bourne to a one-year deal. Signed Travis Benjamin from the LA Chargers. And drafted Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings in the first and seventh rounds of the draft, respectively.

San Francisco 49ers

Could this mean we can expect a more balanced offense from the Niners come next season? San Francisco had the second-best run offense in the league in 2019 (144.1 yards per game). The 49ers traded running back Matt Breida, who was 2nd in the team with 623 yards on the ground, to the Dolphins. But retain the services of Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman. Mostert led the team with 772 rushing yards, while Coleman added 544. Mostert and Coleman combined for 14 rushing TDs, compared to Breida’s one. Mind you, this is all in the regular season. That is to say, not counting San Fran’s butchering of Green Bay in the conference championship game.

Seattle Seahawks

The best online sportsbooks favor the ‘Hawks next. Russell Wilson remains one of the top QBs in the game. And he might become even better with a different-looking offensive line next season. Seattle released center Justin Britt and right guard DJ Fluker. That leaves left tackle Duane Brown and left guard Mike Iupati as the only two starters from 2019. What with right tackle Germain Ifedi cut loose to free agency. All things considered, the Seahawks will have at least three new starters on the O-line in 2020. Wilson was, along with Matt Ryan and Kyler Murray, the most-sacked QB in 2019. So perhaps the change in offensive linemen is going to be for the better.

Los Angeles Rams

The best sportsbooks for US players no longer love the Rams like they did in 2018. Then again, that was a fluke season, capped by a referee-assisted trip to the Super Bowl. The Horned Ones have done themselves no favors, releasing star running back Todd Gurley. Granted, 2019 was an off-year for the likes of him, but still, 800+ yards is not nothing. On the other hand, the Rams did select Cam Akers in the second round of the draft as the 52nd overall pick. Akers rushed for more than 1000 yards in two of his three seasons at Florida State. That makes him, together with Warrick Dunn and Dalvin Cook, the only player in school history with multiple 1,000-yard rushing seasons. The former Seminole surely is a force to be reckoned with; 904 of Akers’ 1,144 rushing yards last year occurred were gained following contact.

Arizona Cardinals

The Cards’ defense was among the worst in the league last season. Now Arizona hopes rookie linebacker Isaiah Simmons will be a cure-all for their defensive woes. According to defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, Simmons, the eighth overall pick in the NFL draft, will be used in a variety of roles other than LB. For example, playing nickel or dime corner or strong safety if need be. “His skill set is out of this world,” Joseph said. “He’s a guy that can solve problems for us, and with his speed and length, he can be an eraser when bad plays happen. The more speed you have, the more guys who can erase bad plays for you on Sundays, it’s always important pieces.”

Our Pick: Users of the best sportsbooks for US players are not advised to fade the Niners.
