The divisional round of the NFL Playoffs begins on Saturday as the Seattle Seahawks visit the Atlanta Falcons on FOX. These two played a great betting game earlier this season in Seattle that the Seahawks pulled out 26-24. It could be another high scoring game on Saturday afternoon as the Seahawks don’t look to be as good on defense without Earl Thomas in the lineup while the Falcons have been rolling on offense led by MVP candidate Matt Ryan. Let’s look at the game odds and the online sportsbooks and NFL Playoff picks.

Atlanta -4.5, total 51

Seahawks vs. Falcons

The Seahawks are coming off a win last week in the Wild Card round over the Detroit Lions. The Seahawks finally got back to running the ball as Thomas Rawls had a big game as he carried it 27 times for 161 yards. “That’s the game we’ve been looking for,” head coach Pete Carroll said. The Seahawks were just 24th in the NFL in rushing this sports betting season, averaging 3.95 yards per carry. Rawls changed that number last week and the entire offense benefited.

“It opens up everything for us,” wide receiver Doug Baldwin said. “I’ve told you guys before that everything runs through our run game. When Thomas Rawls is doing that, they can’t help but put another safety in the box, and then that gives us one-on-one matchups on the outside.” The Falcons were just 29th this season against the run so Rawls could have another big game on Saturday.

The Seahawks were 3-5 ATS on the road this season with four games going over and four going under. Seattle averages 22 points per game while allowing 18 per contest.

The Falcons feature the top offense in the NFL that averages nearly 34 points per game while their defense is 27th, allowing 25 points per contest. Head coach Dan Quinn had had plenty of time to get his team ready to fix the mistakes made the first time the Falcons played Seattle.

Atlanta was just 3-5 ATS at home this season with all eight games going over the total.
