Are the Giants much better off?

There are arguments to be made for both sides, of course. The atmosphere around the Giants is probably less combustible. We have already heard that from Leonard Williams, who was traded from one team to another just recently. There are great running backs for both teams. However, the Giants use theirs (Saquon Barkley) better than the Jets do theirs (Le’Veon Bell). And the Giants should get back wide receiver Sterling Shepard for this one.
At the same time, Jones simply turns the ball over too much, something likely to give the Jets additional opportunities. And the best unit on the field is the Jets’ defense. They can mitigate the effect of Barkley as someone running from scrimmage, as they give up just 3.1 yards per carry. That shades us toward Gang Green, the home team.
