With Monday night football officially under wrap, sports gambling betting sites and players alike are now looking ahead to this weekend’s betting opportunities. There are only 3 weeks left in the 2017 NFL betting regular season. With that in mind, it’s clear NFL bettors need to make best use of the little time left. That’s why we’ve put together a little NFL betting guide to help bettors maximize their winnings when betting on the spread in Week 15. Let’s take a look at some of the best betting options for this weekend’s action.

Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions

Considering that this is an NFC North rivalry, this matchup could end up being very tough to predict. However, both franchises have developed pretty predictable patterns this season. The Lions are 7-6 on the season while the Bears have slumped to a 4-9 record in 2017. Additionally, the Lions defeated the Bears 27-24 a little over a month ago. With this in mind, it’s clear that the Lions shouldn’t have much of a problem beating Chicago. The question now becomes whether or not Detroit be able to cover a 5 ½ point spread. Considering that the Bears are averaging 17.2 points to the Lions’ 26, it’s clear the sports betting website answer is yes.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns

The 7-6 Baltimore Ravens look to strengthen their playoff chances against the Cleveland Browns on the road. For some reason, sports gambling betting sites are giving the Ravens a 7-point spread to cover. That may seem like a lot, especially when considering that the Browns are coming off a game that went into extra time. However, the Ravens have been playing great as of late. Baltimore beat the Lions 44-20 a few weeks back and they pummeled Green Bay 23-0 a little under a month ago. The Ravens might be coming off a close 38-39 loss to the Steelers. But they’ll be facing the winless Browns this weekend. Ultimately, this is a pretty safe bet to make.

Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

There’s no denying that Jacksonville is a great team, but are they great enough to beat the Texans by 11 ½? Houston hasn’t lost by more than 11 in a month so fans might be led to bet against this. However, Tom Savage suffered a nasty blow this past weekend so Houston might have to turn to a 3rd-stringer at quarterback this weekend. If that’s the case, Jacksonville should be able to cover the spread. After all, the Jags have beaten their last 2 opponents by a combined 26 points. Nevertheless, if Savage is listed as healthy for this matchup, something that’s highly unlikely, betting on Houston wouldn’t be that bad of an option.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Oakland Raiders

The 7-6 Cowboys travel to the West Coast to take on the 6-7 Raiders on the road. Sports gambling betting sites are pegging America’s Team as the favorite with a 3-point prediction on the spread. This game is pretty straightforward depending on how you feel about both teams. If you feel like the Raiders are too inconsistent to compete with Dallas, then you’ll have to take Oakland. If on the other hand, you feel that Dallas is too weak without their star runningback, then Oakland is a clear-cut option.
