Minnesota Odds in Favor of the Vikings for Sunday NFL -2.5, 40
Vikings vs. Eagles
The big story in this one is the return of Bradford to Philly. He has led the Vikings this season and is playing at a high level. The Vikings don’t score a ton of points as they average just 23.8 per game but Bradford doesn’t make mistakes and Minnesota doesn’t need to score a ton of points as they boast the top defense in the NFL that is allowing just 12.6 points per contest.
Bradford has a passer rating of 109.8, second best in the NFL. He is completing 70.4% of his passes, best in the league. Bradford went 7-7 in his time with the Eagles in 2015.
The Eagles have been led by rookie quarterback Carson Wentz who started the season hot but has since cooled off. He completed just 50 percent of his passes for 179 yards last week in the loss to Washington. He was sacked 5 times in the contest. It doesn’t help that Philly is without offensive lineman Lane Johnson who is suspended.
The Eagles didn’t look good on defense last week as they were gashed by Washington. Part of the problem is that Philly has been without cornerback Leodis McKelvin who has a hamstring injury.

The Vikings have been solid on offense and great on defense this season and there is no reason to think that changes in Philadelphia. I will lay the points and take the Vikings. This could also be a low scoring game, which almost all of Minnesota’s games are so I will also take the game under the total at the best sportsbooks.
