The annual NCAA March Madness Selection show, which announces the bracket for this year’s tournament, has moved to TBS. The special, which is two-hours long, will be broadcast March 11th. This places it just a little over two weeks away. While some US sportsbook players undermine the importance of the show, it is indispensable when making futures’ predictions.
Adding to fans’ distaste for the NCAA March Madness Selection Show is the fact that back in 2016 the bracket leaked before the show’s completion. In other words, people tuned in for nothing. However, the NCAA has since changed up the format, revealing the bracket as soon as the show begins. This makes tuning in for the annual selection show not as time consuming as it used to be in the past. Players tuning in will see Greg Gumbel and Ernie Johnson hosting, and Clark Kellogg, Charles Barkley, Seth Davis and Kenny Smith providing analysis.
There’s plenty of reason to get excited about this year’s March Madness tournament, but the real joy is found in making betting predictions. The Selection Show is the first look at the bracket, but you don’t have to wait that long to make a daring prediction. Check out where the futures’ odds currently sit to see if there’s any team who’s nagged your attention. There’re certainly some lofty US sportsbook odds to take advantage of.
