Betting Utah Jazz

The Jazz enters the game as the underdog of the best online sportsbooks. The Jazz answered head coach Quin Snyder’s request for more three-point attempts, especially Rudy Gobert. Gobert and Utah played the Miami Heat. In the second of the Jazz’s three scrimmages before the restart of the 2019-20 season. At Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Utah improved compared to the first scrimmage and kept the pedal to the metal in the fourth quarter for a 101-99 win.

The Jazz shot only 24 triples in the team’s first scrimmage versus the Phoenix Suns. After that Snyder said he wanted to see Utah attempt more shots from beyond the arc. “We’ve been mainly a catch and shoot three-point team,” Snyder said. “In order for us to absorb those eight threes and hopefully have more, I think we have to shoot off the dribble more. We have some guys that can do that. Donovan [Mitchell], Mike Conley, Jordan Clarkson, Joe Ingles. So we’ve got some guys that can shoot it.”

His players heeded the call and fired 40 shots from the three-point line against Miami. On the downside though, Utah only converted 14 of those attempts. “They all want each other to attack and to shoot, so it’s good when, you know, they’re getting encouragement from us and then getting encouragement for each other taking those shots and we said it’s more about taking them,” Snyder said. “I think we’ve got good shooters and we didn’t shoot well early in the game, and then I think as the game progressed, we started making more of them.”

Betting Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder are the best USA sportsbooks’ favorite ahead of the game. Steven Adams looked impressive on Friday against the Celtics. In particular when it came to the pick and roll with Chris Paul. Adams scored 17 points in 15:20 in the first half and sat out the second. He went 8 of 11 with one miss from the perimeter. He grabbed seven boards with four offensive rebounds, one assist, and one block.

Meanwhile, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has added some strength. His arms are more defined and bulkier yet his first move is quicker than ever. He flew by Celtics players regardless of their names. Jaylen Brown is one of the top defenders and Marcus Smart is an All-Defensive team member but they were both caught with their pants down by Shai. SGA has made quite a leap during the hiatus. His shot has always been smooth but there were expectations he might be rusty. Shai missed all three of his 3-point attempts but his form remained smooth. He had 17 points, three rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 22:36 minutes.

Andre Roberson returned and he also looked great. He scored five points including a three-pointer, grabbed two boards and one steal, and a block in just under 12 minutes of playing time. Roberson has always been a point of contention on this team with Luguentz Dort, Terrance Ferguson, Abdel Nader, and Hamidou Diallo competing for minutes. Nader was doing okay before getting hurt posting 11 points, two rebounds, and a block. His minutes were strong though he was a bit hectic on the court.

Utah Jazz vs. Oklahoma City Thunder NBA Pick

The Jazz can make a million three-point shots and it matters little if they don’t go in the basket. Users of the best USA sportsbooks should take the Thunder.
