More than a few teams bring excellent wagering value. Many of them will be surprises. In fact, several profitable but anonymous teams would likely not get mentions as sportsbook betting tips.

Not only is Virginia the top seed but they were also one of the most profitable teams on the board. In 30 lined games the Cavaliers lost just nine games vs. the spread. They are top seed in the South Regional. Loyola Chicago is the 11 seed in the South. Most impressive is that the Ramblers lost just nine out of 29 games on the board this season. San Diego State paid in 20 out of 30 games vs. the odds in 2017-18. Pitted in the West Regional the Aztecs are the 12 seed.

Michigan is the three seed in the West. Maize and Blue backers lost only 11 of 34 lined games. North Carolina Greensboro is the 13 seed in the West. Yet they powered sportsbook bonuses with only nine losses vs. the odds in 27 tries. Villanova epitomizes name brand cache. Only two years removed from a national title they are at their peak as a program. Head Coach Jay Wright’s Wildcats were in the black with 22 payouts in 34 games this year. Duke’s an even bigger marquee brand. But that didn’t prevent 20 covers in 31 tries this campaign.

Buyer beware teams are led by the Oklahoma Sooners. OU is a controversial pick to make the tournament. Down the stretch they suffered an epic collapse. Gamblers drowned in red ink with OU. Boomer Sooner paid in just ten out of 30 games. Wichita State is the four seed in the East. However, the Shockers were 12-18 vs. the line this season. Miami quietly made the tourney as a six seed. Yet the U was only 11-15 vs. the odds.
