Betting Seattle Dragons

The Dragons lost 12-24 to the Dallas Renegades in Week 3 as 4.5-point home dogs, according to the best online sportsbooks. Starting QB Brandon Silvers went 21 of 34 for 204 yards one TD, two picks and one sack. Wide receiver Austin Proehl had 81 yards and one TD on six receptions. Seattle fell one yard short of 100 rushing yards. On defense, Linebacker Steven Johnson had 14 combined tackles (nine solo), two tackles for loss, and a pass defensed. “Three 3-and-outs did not help. … I thought we were running the ball well, we had a pretty good plan. All of us felt frustrated, we had a plan that was capable, but you only get one shot,” Dragons head coach Jim ‘Son of’ Zorn said.
Offensive tackle Isaiah Battle and wide receiver Reuben Mwehla have joined a full practice for the first time since training camp.

Each has been nursing an injury that kept them out of the first three games of the season. And both were able to wear pads and helmets for the first time in seven weeks. As the team began its on-field preparations for the trip to St. Louis. “It was great,” said Mwehla. “When you’re injured, it’s a tough thing, because I’ve never really been injured like that and had to be out for seven, eight weeks. I just love playing football, so I’m happy to be out here with everybody. I always felt like part of the team, but now I’m really with the team doing something. It feels better for sure.”

“Being down for seven weeks, not good,” Battle added. “It hurt me to the core, but we’ve got a good training staff, good coaches, good players who talked to me, helped me hold my head up high, family. I’m ready to go. To be with my team, be with my guys, my favorite guys in the meeting room. It was awesome. I was a little winded, just a little bit [at practice], but after I got my second wind, I was good. I’ve been training, so I’m ready. We’ve got our best playmakers. We’re coming in with the group we started training camp with. We were doing pretty well, so I believe we’re going to kick it back up and go on a run.”

Betting St. Louis BattleHawks

The Hawks beat the NY Guardians 29-9 in Week 3 as 9.5-point home chalk, per the best USA sportsbooks. Starting QB Jordan Ta’amu went 12 of 18 for 119 yards and was sacked twice. Wide receiver Alonzo Russell had 36 yards on three catches. Running back Matt Jones rushed for 95 yards and one TD on 15 carries. Jones and Christine Michael combined for 139 yards on 28 carries (5.0 yards per attempt). St. Louis was outgained 307 total yards to 273 but NY lost 86 penalty yards to the BattleHawks’ 20. The Hawks were also more successful on third downs and in the red zone. Defensively, Will Clarke, Andrew Ankrah and Casey Sayles all got sacks.

“We have a lot of potential, have a great coaching staff. Have a great group of guys: offense, defense, even special teams. Going out there today it was that NFL feeling. We’re all playing a high level, feeding off one another,” Michael said.

Seattle Dragons vs. St. Louis BattleHawks XFL Pick

Mwehla and Battle would have to be something pretty special to help Seattle upset St. Louis. But one was waived and cut more times than he was signed in the NFL. And the other doesn’t even have a Wikipedia page. So I take it they are nothing special. Users of the best USA sportsbooks should stick with the BattleHawks.
