Colorado Buffaloes -4, total 59

Washington State vs. Colorado

The Cougars are in rarified air as they actually control their own destiny in the Pac-12 North. The problem for the Cougars is that to win the division they have to beat two teams ranked ahead of them in Colorado and Washington. The Huskies are the only unbeaten team in the Pac-12 this season. They have scored more than 50 straight points in consecutive conference games for the first time in school history. The offense is led by quarterback Luke Falk who has thrown 84 career TD passes.

Washington State has an excellent receiver in Gabe Marks who is the Pac-12’s all-time leader in career receptions. He also has 3,328 career yards, with at least three games remaining. “That record was a long time in the making, so I’m very proud of him,” coach Mike Leach said. “That’s a huge body of work he’s a part of. Gabe would be the first to tell you there’s a lot of teammates who helped him get that. He’s had a very impressive career.” The bad news for Washington State is that they lost slot receiver River Cracraft to a season ending injury.

The Cougars are scoring 44 points per game and allowing 24 points per contest. They have gone over the total in six of their eight games this season.

Colorado is coming off a 49-24 win over Arizona. The Buffaloes have been an outstanding team to bet on this season as they are 9-1 ATS. The Buffaloes are scoring about 35 points per game which is 35th best.

The Buffaloes are led by their defense that is giving up just 17.9 points per game which is 9th best in the country. “We still have some things defensively that we need to fix, breaking down and tackling in space, we missed too many tackles today,” said linebacker Jimmie Gilbert, “And we need to improve our pass rush drastically. Dawkins and (Anu) Solomon had too much time in the pocket to release the ball. So we really have to pick that up this upcoming week.”

Washington State vs. Colorado Stats and Trends

The road team is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings in this series. The Cougars are 9-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Cougars are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in November.
