Betting Buffalo Bills

The Bills are 2.5-point road favorites at the best sportsbooks for US players. The 2022 season is the Buffalo Bills’ 53rd in the NFL, 63rd as a franchise, eighth full season under the ownership of Terry and Kim Pegula, and sixth under the head coach/general manager duo of Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane.

The Bills enter the 2022 season as back-to-back AFC East division champions. They will try to improve on their 11–6 record from last season and become the first team since the 2017 Eagles to win the Super Bowl for the first time.

This will be the final season in the Bills’ current lease on Highmark Stadium. Talks remain underway for the construction of a new stadium as of January 2022. The team announced that it would not renew its lease on Highmark Stadium unless an deal for a new stadium is reached by the end of the 2022 season.

Bills Stats

Although not able to match their 13–3 record from the previous season last year, the Bills secured the AFC East division for a second straight year. That was their first consecutive division title since 1991.

They finished the regular season 11–6 to earn the No. 3 seed for the playoffs. This marked their third consecutive playoff berth and fourth in five years. The Bills had the top-ranked defense, and the highest point differential and the victory margin.

All of the team’s wins came by multiple possessions. However, they lost every game within one possession. The Bills beat their AFC East division rivals the New England Patriots in the wild-card round.

That game was marked by their becoming the first league team to score a touchdown on every offensive drive. Playing the Kansas City Chiefs in a Divisional Round matchup, the Bills lost the QB duel between Josh Allen and Pat Mahomes.

Although the Bills took a three-point lead with 13 seconds left, the Chiefs scored a game-tying field goal on their next drive and won in OT. The loss marked the second year in a row the Bills were eliminated by the Chiefs. The season also saw Pittsburgh-based health insurance company Highmark buy the rights to the Bills’ stadium, resulting in the name Highmark Stadium.

Betting LA Rams

The Horned Ones are home dogs according to the best online sportsbooks. The 2022 season is the Los Angeles Rams’ 85th in the NFL, 86th overall, 56th in the Greater Los Angeles Area, third playing their home games at SoFi Stadium, sixth under head coach Sean McVay, and eleventh under general manager Les Snead.

They will try to improve on their 12–5 record from last season, and become the first team to repeat as Super Bowl champions since the 2004 New England Patriots. The Rams head into the 2022 season as defending Super Bowl champions for the first time since 2000, back when the club was based out of St. Louis.

The Rams improved on their 10–6 record from the previous season last year following a win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 16. They clinched their second straight playoff berth the same week.

LA Rams Stats

Despite a three-game losing streak in November, and a Week 18 OT loss to the San Francisco 49ers where they blew a 17–0 lead at home, the Rams won their division for the first time since 2018. In the postseason, the Rams defeated the Arizona Cardinals in the Wild Card round 34–11.

They knocked out defending Super Bowl champions the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a tight 30–27 contest in the divisional round. In the NFC Championship Game, the Rams played the Niners again, and won 20–17 to advance to Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium.

They became only the second team ever to play the Super Bowl in their home stadium. It was also the second consecutive year a team played the Super Bowl in their home stadium. The Rams won their second Super Bowl overall by defeating the Cincinnati Bengals 23–20 to win their first Super Bowl since 1999.

They won the franchise’s first title as a Los Angeles-based team since 1951 as well as fourth overall. To reach the Super Bowl in their home stadium, the Rams had to make it past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the first team to accomplish the feat a season prior.
