Betting Alex Caceres at UFC 250

Caceres is the underdog, per the best online sportsbooks. Caceres is a 31-year-old veteran with a 15-2-1 record. He has been in the UFC since March of 2011. He has never had a title match in his 22 fights with the promotion, but “Bruce Leeroy” has a number of ways to get the win, as his eight stoppages and seven decisions attest. His 75% takedown accuracy means he might want to fight this one on the ground if he can take it there. Caceres enters the event with wins in two of his last three. After a first-round submission loss to Kron Gracie in February 2019, “Bruce Leroy” rebounded with a unanimous decision win over Steven Peterson in July. The TUF 12 participant will enter the octagon for the 22nd time.

Caceres, a longtime veteran of the promotion and appeared on “The Ultimate Fighter” in 2010, has split his last four outings, most recently picking up a unanimous decision win over Steven Peterson last July. Caceres is coming off a victory over Steven “Ocho” Peterson last July. He has been inactive since, and is 3-3 over his last six fights, with a submission loss to Kron Gracie before the Peterson fight. Having plied his trade in the UFC since his TUF 12 appearance in 2010, Caceres represents arguably the biggest challenge Hooper has faced to date.

Betting Chase Hooper at UFC 250

Hooper is favored by the best sportsbooks for US players. Hooper is 9-0-1 in his MMA career and has seven stoppages. He won a development deal at Dana White’s Contender Series at the tender age of 18. And made his octagon debut at UFC 245 in December with a first-round TKO of Daniel Teymur. Even if he gets another win on Saturday, he still wouldn’t be old enough to legally open a beer to celebrate. After he earned a developmental deal with the UFC on Dana White’s Contender Series in July 2018, Hooper fought for CFFC, Titan FC, and Island Fight (notching a split draw and earning a pair of finishes) prior to his Octagon debut at UFC 245. The 20-year-old beat Daniel Teymur via first-round TKO in the December match to remain undefeated in his 10-fight pro career.

The undefeated 20-year-old Hooper was given a developmental deal on “Dana White’s Contender Series” in 2018 and finally debuted in the UFC debut last December when he stopped Daniel Teymur in the first round. For Hooper, this will be his second trip to the octagon, following a TKO victory over Daniel Teymur at UFC 245 back in December. Hooper first came to notice on the Contender Series in 2018, but although earning a win on the show, the UFC elected to allow the youth to fight a few more times outside the promotion. Still not old enough to legally drink in the United States, the 20-year-old sure can get away with punching faces. He plans to do just that against the always game “Bruce Leeroy,” also know as Alex Caceres, who has been trading wins and losses recently.

Our Pick:

Users of the best sportsbooks for US players are advised to heed that old chestnut; “out with the old, in with the new”.
