Quarterback Brock Purdy and coach Campbell both turned down NFL offers. It’s clear this program has championship goals. The Cyclones get to flex their talented tight ends, such as Charlie Kolar who is arguably the best tight end in the nation. Purdy will not only have several weapons to rely on but the team’s defense has limited Oklahoma to their lowest points total in three of the last four seasons.

Hall is one of the best running backs in college football. Considering the low percentage of running backs who have won this award in the last 20 years, it’s a hard pass. When running backs can climb that mountain and win the Heisman it usually comes down to playing at schools that dominate the media, which Iowa State is not.
Great running back but not crazy about the odds at sportsbooks for US players. Brock Purdy will most likely finish this season as Iowa States’ best QB ever. He’s done great things for this program and has been crucial to their success. But he lacks the media attention to compete with some of the other guys on the list. He’s a great QB who will have another great season, and that’s about it.
