Gambling sites for NFL favor the Kansas City Chiefs to win Super Bowl LV, but can the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pull off an upset? If they do so, in spite of their best online sportsbooks’ odds, it will no doubt have a lot to do with Tom Brady.

There is no other quarterback in the league more valuable in the Super Bowl than TB12. He already owns six Super Bowl rings as well as four Super Bowl MVP trophies. He’s inarguably the best postseason QB in history.

Super Bowl LV will be Brady’s 10th SB appearance. Even at 43 years of age, he keeps playing at a top-notch level. In his first regular-season as a Buccaneer, Brady completed 66% of his pass attempts for 4,633 yards with 40 TDs and a passer rating of 102.2.

Nothing can take the place of Brady’s skills, experience, wherewithal, and cojones, all of which will pay off in Super LV. Pat Mahomes is a very worthy foe as a defending Super Bowl betting champion and former MVP.

However, he won’t be going up against Jimmy Garoppolo this time. As a matter of fact, he will be face to face with the Greatest of all Time. Brady has already taken care of similarly mythical quarterbacks Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers. He has more than what it takes to do the same with Mahomes, especially in a Super Bowl scenario, where Brady is more often than not at the top of his game.

Reasons to Bet on the Bucs

Here is another reason that the Bucs might prove gambling sites for NFL wrong. Brady’s selection of weapons might actually be even better than Mahomes’s. Tampa Bay has three former All-Pro wide receivers on its roster.

Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown are top talents. They make defensive backs shake in their cleats. They can post massive numbers in any game.

And the elite talent doesn’t end there. The Bucs also boast future Hall of Fame tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Gronk has been a favorite target of Brady’s through their many seasons playing together. Backup tight end Cameron Brate has shown to be an invaluable asset too. Wide receivers Scotty Miller and Tyler Johnson are both dependable pass catchers.

With running backs Ronald Jones II and Leonard Fournette in the mix, Brady might just have at his disposal the best cache of weapons in the NFL. And that’s not to mention Tampa Bay’s offensive line.

The O-line allowed the fourth-fewest sacks (22) in the regular season. It was ranked the fifth-best in the league, six spots ahead of that of Kansas City, according to PFF. The Buccaneers possess more than enough offensive prowess to take care of business against a comme ci, comme ça Kansas City defense.

On the other side of the ball, TB’s defense could make gambling sites for NFL eat crow. Tampa Bay ranked 9th in the league this season in defensive efficiency. Kansas City was a lackluster 20th. Tampa Bay additionally features the top-ranked run defense (80.6 yards per game, 3.6 yards per carry, and the fewest rushing scores allowed).

Chiefs Stats for Betting

The Chiefs finished the regular season ranked 21st against the run. KC was better in passing yards allowed, but that was by a rather small margin. And a Kansas City pass rush that posted 32 sacks is dwarfed by a Buccaneers’ pass rush that produced 48 in the regular season.

That is a good sign for pass rushers Jason Pierre-Paul (11.5 sacks including the postseason), Shaquil Barrett (11) and Devin White (9). They will go against a Kansas City offensive line that will not have three starters from last year’s Super Bowl-winning team. Those are guard Mitchell Schwartz (knee), Pro Bowl left tackle Eric Fisher (Achilles) and guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (opted out).
