Betting Ikram Aliskerov

He is the best online sportsbook favorite. Ikram Aliskerov has lately broken into the spotlight following his star-making performance at UFC 288. Competing in the early prelims, Aliskerov faced off against Phil Hawes.

Aliskerov’s promotional debut saw him needing just one round to make short work of Hawes. With a nasty KO at the 2:10 mark of the opening round, Aliskerov made an impact in his first bout. With rapid-fire combos, he left Hawes lying in shame.

Aliskerov is a remarkable fighter. He gave Khamzat Chimaev, the superstar of UFC, one of the stiffest challenges of his career. He countered Chimaev’s attempts at grappling. Considering ‘Borz’s’ wrestling creds, that is no mean feat.

The fight, unluckily for Aliskerov, finished with him getting his clock cleaned by Chimaev. He landed a nasty uppercut following his attempts at taking the fight to the mat went nowhere. The loss does not seem to have slowed Ikram Aliskerov’s momentum.

He has gone on winning ever since. As of this day, he has a 14-1 record, with the single loss coming against Chimaev. Ikram Aliskerov made a statement in his promotional debut, in and out of the octagon alike. After he stopped Hawes in spectacular fashion, he called out Bo Nickal in his post-interview.

With that win, he prolonged his winning streak to six wins in a row. Talking to Joe Rogan, he said: “Thank you all very much. I hope you were excited about my fight. I’m not gonna say to many words but I’m here, and I have a lot of goals in this sport. Hopefully, with god’s help, I’ll make some noise here.”

Rogan asked him whether there was somebody in particular that he would like to fight. To this, Aliskerov replied: “Hey Bo Nickal, I heard you said you wanted to fight with a Dagestani guy. Brother, I am here. I am waiting. He said he wanted to fight with the Dagestani guy. I’m here. We need to see whose wrestling is better.”

Entering the UFC at 30 years of age and with a 13-1 record, Aliskerov is one of the most recent arrivals in the invasion of awe-inspiring Russian fighters that have made their way into the UFC. In spite of facing somebody who had six prior UFC fights in Phil Hawes, the new guy held his own and acquitted himself well in a convincing fashion. He totally knocked Hawes out cold in a little over two minutes.

Some of you might be familiar with Ikram Aliskerov from his loss to Khamzat Chimaev. That was about wherein he countered all of Chimaev’s takedowns but eventually caught the business end of a big punch.

There is one more reason to be excited about this new Russian-comer. To wit, it is the fact that he happens to be a four-time Combat Sambo champion of the world. That is a sport that has brought the likes of Khabib Nurmagomedov and Fedor Emelianenko a lot of success in MMA.

Someone else who has encountered success in the promotion employing their Combat Sambo expertise is Islam Makhachev. Makhachev took to X after Aliskerov experienced a successful maiden fight at UFC 288. He congratulated his fellow sambi, and he shared a photo of the two training side by side.

Betting Warlley Alves

Aliskerov will be now facing ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ season three winner Warlley Alves. The best gambling sites’ underdog will be making his second UFC outing in nigh three years. Alves has been a staple of the promotion since the year of Our Lord 2015.

He has gone 8-6 in the UFC. He beat Colby Covington and then he lost to Kamaru Usman in his career. As much as it is not good for the UFC 294 fight card to have a cancellation, the resulting bout fight makes a whole lot more sense from a booking perspective.

Aliskerov made his debut against Phil Hawes and KO’d him. He was immediately slated to face the #4 ranked middleweight Paulo Costa. When Costa got rescheduled versus Khamzat Chimaev, Aliskerov got #11 Imavov.

Fans have seen the way that fast-tracked unranked hopefuls can backfire when Abus Magomedov was destroyed by Sean Strickland in July. Alves is a substitute that befits Aliskerov’s standing in the rankings.
