The best betting sites favors Tyson Fury over Deontay Wilder when they fight on Saturday in Las Vegas for the WBC heavyweight title. It looked like Tyson Fury was going to face Anthony Joshua before an arbitrator decreed that Fury had to face Wilder.

Following a notable performance by Fury in his rematch against Wilder on February 22, 2020, a trilogy fight is now in the offing at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fury and Wilder fought to a split draw in their first match.

The Gypsy King outboxed the Bronze Bomber for most of the fight but got dropped twice. It was a different story in the rematch with Fury stopping him in the seventh. After he lost the belt, Wilder invoked his rematch clause.

Betting Tyson Fury

This set up the trilogy fight. The Gypsy King was an underdog at the best online sportsbooks in the first two fights. Fury was favored for about 14 months prior the rematch. The odds did flip about a week prior to that second encounter.

The Brit ran through Wilder and paid off as an underdog at the best betting sites. As lopsided as that fight was, the odds favoring Fury’s aren’t stratospherically big. That’s because Wilder still has a right hand that will get you KTFO.

The Gypsy King used two strategies in the two matches. He employed a more conservative point-fighting style in the first. Then an all-out onslaught in the second. There were many rumors going around ahead of the rematch.

There was talk that the Bronze Bomber was struggling with the flu. And that the Gypsy King had a major ankle injury. When the bell rang for the first round, it was evident that Fury was going to put his money where his mouth was. And get in Wilder’s face to get the knockout.

Betting Deontay Wilder

The Brit went right for the American. He closed space and stalked him. He absorbed a heavy right hand. But he maintained this strategy. He suffocated Wilder. Also he crowded him. He dirty-boxed in the clinch. He made Wilder carry his weight.

The Bronze Bomber’s corner threw in the towel in round 7 after he was battered and bruised. Fury discovered something about Wilder that colored his approach in the rematch. He closed the distance, taking the power from Wilder’s hands. He tried to tire him out.

It was a dangerous approach. Especially early in the bout. Closing the distance could have placed him in the line of fire for that apocalyptical knockout power. But you could see as the Bronze Bomber slowed as early as the second.

Surely, the cut to his left ear was a nuisance. A full training camp for Wilder to do his homework on circling to his right away from Fury. As well as firing his jab more often to keep distance may change the outlook of this matchup. A point-fighting style is not Wilder’s forté. One can’t see a way that he could get the win on the judges’ scorecards.

Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury Pick

The only way there could be a different result the third time around is if Wilder comes out of the gate at the start of the fight and lets his fists fly. Either knock out or be knocked out like we see in UFC fights.

Should that be the case, trading hands may give the advantage to the American as he has earth-shattering power. However, and contrary to his looks, Fury is not so dumb as to stand in the pocket in such a situation. Users of the best betting sites should take Tyson Fury by knockout.
