Saturday is upon us which means that it’s time to once again mulch over the action top sportsbook sites are putting together on this weekend’s matchups. With the end of the 2017 college football betting season in sight, US online sportsbook players know that they have to make use of the little time left. What better way to do that than by cashing in on some of the weekend’s most lucrative spread lines? Well, to help NCAA football players accomplish that, we’ve assembled a list of the most enticing matchups of Week 13’s collegiate football action.
Boston College Eagles vs. Syracuse Orange
The 6-5 Boston College Eagles look to pick up a road win over the 4-7 Syracuse Orange. Usually backing Syracuse on the spread isn’t that bad of an option but if you were to take a closer look at this matchup it would be clear that bettors should instead place a wager on Boston College. The Eagles will only have to cover a 3 ½ point spread on the road this season, which shouldn’t be too hard considering that BC is 4-1 against the spread during away games this season. Furthermore, the Orange are sitting on a 2-3-1 ATS record at home, so there’s not much there to inspire a whole lot of confidence. Ultimately, sportsbook for US players have some great lines for backing the Eagles. Feel free to check out MyBookie.ag’s lines on this matchup, as well as our own sportsbook review on them.
Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Michigan Wolverines
The 9-2 Buckeyes, currently ranked 9th in the nation, will travel to Michigan Stadium to take on the 8-3 Wolverines. Ohio State is pegged as a massive betting favorite, as they are facing -475 odds on the money line. Furthermore, the top sportsbook sites on the planet are giving them a 12 ½ point spread line to cover. Considering that the Buckeyes are scoring 44.9 per game to Michigan’s 26.3, it stands to reason that Ohio State won’t have too much of a problem covering this lie. Lastly, No. 9 Ohio State is sitting on a 3-1 ATS road record this season while the Wolverines are 1-4 against the spread at home.
Florida State Seminoles vs. Florida Gators
The 4-6 Seminoles will try to get one over their Florida rivals this Saturday while the Gators will be looking to improve upon their meager 4-6 record. Both teams are pretty evenly matched; FSU puts up 24.0 on offense and allows 23.1 while the Gators earn 22.1 offensively and give up 26.2 defensively. But, despite how similar these teams’ averages may be, fans will want to stick with the Gators on the spread here. Florida might have a disappointing 3-4 record against the spread at home this season but it’s still much better than FSU’s 0-4-1 ATS away record. All Florida has to do is lose by 6 or fewer points, which isn’t that hard. There’s a -110 payout on this top sportsbook site line as well.
Indiana Hoosiers vs. Purdue Boilermakers
The Hoosiers enter this Saturday’s matchup sporting a 5-6 record while Purdue comes in at 5-6. The Boilermakers happen to have a 4-2 ATS home record this season while Indiana is 2-3 against the spread on the road.
