Milwaukee enhanced their lineup by adding Hunter Renfroe and Andrew McCutchen. This will be helpful in both the outfield as well as the newly added National League designated hitter position. Even if neither did well against right-handers last year, this offense is better than it was last season.

Seiya Suzuki crushed the ball while playing in Japan. He could be a candidate for the National League Rookie of the Year award. Last season, the Cubs had just one player with an xwOBA over .300 against curveballs and sliders. Frank Schwindel was that player and his was only at .307. If Burnes can mix in his off-speed stuff with cutters, it is hard to see a scenario where the Cubs can hit against him.
