If you like sports betting, no doubt you either have already or plan to put money down on the Super Bowl. Be it a bet you placed at the beginning of the season on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Kansas City Chiefs, or a little action on the 3.5-point spread, you’re playing this game.
But you can place bets like that any week of the season. They’re fun, but they’re normal. What is really the best part of Super Bowl betting, the real gambler’s joy of the biggest day on the sports calendar, are the scores and scores and proposition bets you can play. The better books will have Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl props, and separate Tampa Bay Buccaneers props, as well as game props that involve both teams and then even more for individual players.

It’s interesting to note that Kansas City is a higher favorite to get to 15 than to get to 10. As you may remember, the Chiefs last year trailed in all three of their postseason games. They also trailed the Buffalo Bills 9-0 in this year’s AFC Championship Game before going on their run to make the game a blowout.
Result and Game Total
These are little two-part bets that include the winner of the game with an over/under bet, and it’s important to note that these odds do include overtime. Not all bets do, so make sure and check before you bet.

Scoring Periods
A favorite team prop to bet is the points scored in a quarter or half and which team will actually be the higher scorer.
Highest Scoring Quarter
Odds | |

First Quarter | +500 |
Second Quarter | +140 |
Third Quarter | +475 |

The highest-scoring quarter of the NFC Championship Game was the second quarter with 24 points. The same game-high 24 points were scored in the second quarter of the AFC Championship Game. So naturally, the second quarter is the favorite to win this bet in the Super Bowl.

A couple of items to note. The sack line being 3.5 would be great for Kansas City. The Buccaneers got to Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers five times in the NFC Championship Game, and the Chiefs’ offensive line is hurting. This is one where the Over really stands out.
Also, look at the combined offensive yardage lines. That’s 826 yards of total offense if the line hits.
Clearly, everyone thinks that we’re in for a shootout and that both quarterbacks will do well. So place your bets accordingly.
