Super Bowl LV Predictions – 2021 SuperBowl MVP Odds and Betting Analysis

Super Bowl LV: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Odds and Picks

The best NFL gambling sites aren’t the only ones making predictions about Super Bowl LV. For example, Jordan Dajani of CBS Sports.com predicts that wide receiver Tyrek ‘One Tree’ Hill is going to upset Pat Mahomes and Tom Brady, favored by the best online sportsbooks, and win Super Bowl MVP.

Hill has been of the top receivers in the league in the past few seasons. He surely is the quickest. The Pro Bowler has been tearing up the pea patch lately. In Kansas City’s divisional-round game against the Cleveland Browns,

Hill caught eight passes for 110 yards. He then burst up for 172 yards on nine recs in the conference championship game.

His 172 receiving yards are the most in a postseason game in franchise history. It signaled his third consecutive postseason game with more than 100 receiving yards. In the Chiefs’ Week 12 game with the Buccaneers, Hill had the best game of his career.

He received for 269 yards and three TDs on 13 grabs through. Not a body in Tampa Bay’s secondary could touch him. With the way he has been playing in the playoffs plus the fact that he smoked the Bucs earlier this season, take the Over on Hill’s receiving yards prop. Although the best NFL gambling sites may not agree on his Super Bowl MVP chances.

Dajani also predicts that Rob Gronkowski will catch a TD pass and that the Chiefs will repeat as Super Bowl Champions. Gronk coming out of retirement to play with Brady in Tampa has turned out to be a mixed bag.

In 16 regular-season games, he had 623 yards on 45 catches to go with seven touchdowns. However, he has caught just two passes for 43 yards in three playoff games. Gronk recorded season-best stats against the Chiefs in Week 12. He caught six passes for 106 yards.

This will be the sixth Super Bowl that Brady and Gronk play together. The star tight end has been successful in the big game. He caught six out of seven targets for 87 yards against the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LII.

Additionally, he had nine catches for 116 yards and two TDs against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII. According to the best NFL gambling sites, the odds of Gronk scoring the first TD of the game are about +2000, but a score of him at any point in the game would fulfill Dajani’s prophecy.

It would be something else if Brady won the Super Bowl in his first season with the Bucs. On the other hand, it is quite difficult to repeat as Super Bowl champions, but KC looks poised to do so. The defense has been playing better than ever, and the offense is practically unstoppable.
Mahomes is extraordinary, but Hill and tight end Travis Kelce are pretty special themselves. They just became the first tandem to register two games of 100+ receiving yards in the same postseason.

Elsewhere, ESPN predicts that the Kansas City Chiefs’ “explosive-play ability on offense will create matchup issues for the Tampa Bay defense”, but also that “assuming [the Tampa Bay Buccaneers] have both starting safeties Antoine Winfield Jr. and Jordan Whitehead back, they’ll be at full strength defensively.”
