A lot of action on the UNDER 49.5 points has decreased the line to 46.5 points. The UNDER is 4-2 in the last six meetings between Baylor and Oklahoma State.

Betting Baylor Bears

The Bears are underdogs at most betting sites. Baylor’s 27-24 victory over the Texas Tech Red Raiders as a 14-point home faves was closer than the Bears might have preferred. A win’s a win, though. The Bears could be given a pass for having a somewhat disappointing performance following consecutive upset wins over the Oklahoma Sooners and Kansas State Wildcats.

Abram Smith ran for 117 yards and a TD on 30 carries in the win over Texas Tech. Smith has recorded 1,366 yards and 12 TDs on 215 rushes this season. He has averaged 5.8 yards per carry in the team’s current 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS run.

The Bears will have their hands full on Saturday with an Oklahoma State rushing defense ranking fifth-in the nation. They allow only 91.5 yards per game.

Betting Oklahoma State Cowboys

The Cowboys are favored at betting sites. They earned their place in the Big 12 championship game and kept their hopes for a CFP spot alive with a 37-33 victory over the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday. Oklahoma State was down 33-24 going into the final quarter.

Some great defensive play plus two late scoring drives led the team to victory. Sanders had 214 passing yards, one touchdown pass and two picks. He did most of his damage on the ground with 93 yards and a TD.

If Alabama defeats Georgia in the SEC championship game, Oklahoma State will likely end up empty handed vis-a-vis a playoff berth. But if Georgia bests Alabama and the Cowboys does likewise with Baylor, a single-loss Big 12 champion should gets the nod over two-loss Alabama and one-loss Notre Dame. Neither of those teams would have a conference title to brag about.

Baylor Bears vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys Picks

Baylor and Oklahoma State both solid rushing games and defensive play. Their first game was 17-14 late in the fourth quarter prior to Jaylen Warren sealing the win with a late TD. This one should be close late as well.

This time Baylor needs a big play on offense or defense to cover the spread. Oklahoma State managed a win over Baylor last time around even though they lost the turnover battle 3-0. Sanders threw three picks in the win. A more efficient effort with fewer turnovers ought to give the Cowboys an inside edge to a win and cover the point spread.

It is understandable why Oklahoma State is favored here. The Cowboys have been monolithic this season. We are still not sold that the Cowboys can get much distance from Baylor in this one, though. Sure, Oklahoma State beat Baylor by ten earlier this season. We saw OK State pull out some impressive showings down the stretch. But this feels like it will come down to a field goal. Take Baylor and the points in this one.
