Betting New England Patriots

There’s some good news and then there’s some old news. The good news is that the Pats dropped Antonio Brow like a bad habit. The old news is that New England doesn’t need him – they never did. The best that can be said for Mr. Brown is that his last name perfectly describes his true colors. If it’s Brown, flush it down, naa’mean?

The Patriots beat the Jets 30-14 as 21 points home faves, according to the best online sportsbooks. Starting QB Tom Brady went 28 of 42 for 306 yards with two TDs. Wide receiver Josh Gordon had 83 yards on six receptions. Running back Rex Burkhead posted 47 yards and one TD on 11 carries. The Pats rank 2nd in scoring (35.3 points per game) and passing offense (311.3 yards per game). The monolithic New England defense held the Jets to just 105 total yards; 69 passing and 36 rushing. The Patriots currently have the best defensive in the league.

Per sportsbook sites, New England is 5-1 ATS in their last six games versus AFC teams. 20-8 ATS in their last 28 games on the road. 42-18 ATS in their last 60 overall. 16-5-1 ATS in their last 22 visits to Buffalo. And 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings. The under is 11-4 in the Patriots’ last 15 games overall.

The Pats have just signed Cody Kessler, which leads Cris Carter to believe Brady’s calf is a source of concern. Sounds more like X-Files creator Chris Carter. Believe the lie. The truth is out there.

Betting Buffalo Bills

The Bills bested the Bengals 21-17 as six-point home chalk last weekend. Starting QB Josh Allen went 23 of 36 for 243 yards with one TD and one pick. Wide receiver Dawson ‘s’ Creek’ Knox registered 67 yards and one TD on three catches. Running back Frank Gore logged 76 yards and one score on 14 attempts. The Bills are 5th in rushing yards per game (151.3). Buffalo’s defense allowed 240 passing yards but did intercept Andy Dalton twice. The Bills have a top five scoring and total defense. And a top ten passing and rushing defense.

Buffalo is 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games. 2-5 ATS in their last seven games on turf. And 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

“It’s the NFL. Any given Sunday anything can happen. Everybody is already writing us off because it is the New England Patriots, but we’re going to come and play our brand of football. That’s hard-nosed, gritty, and I know our fans will help us. We want to give them something to cheer about,” safety Jordan Poyer said. Allen added that “It’s the most important game were playing because it’s the next one. We understand what this game means to the fans and people around the league, but we’re just trying to go 1-0 every week. We know this team prepares well. They are 3-0 for a reason and they’ve got one of the greatest to ever do it at quarterback and head coach.”

New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills NFL Week 4 Game Prediction

The Patriots could have, should have and would have covered the point spread set by sportsbook sites against the Jets. But they didn’t because of a botched punt and a pick-six thrown by ‘Double J Jeff’ Jarrett Stidham. What are the odds of that happening again? Take New England and the points.
