Top offshore betting sites favor the New Orleans Saints to win the NFC South division. That would make it their fourth straight divisional title. The Holy Ones signed wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, formerly of the 49ers. Sanders has not received for 1000 yards since 2016. But pairing him with Drew Brees might elevate his game. Though presumably not to the heights of ‘Philip’ Michael Thomas, the best receiver in the league.

New Orleans Saints

Barring any unforeseen event, Jameis Winston will don the Saints uniform next season. That is a win-win scenario. New Orleans get a star backup. Someone that can do what Teddy B-H20 did for them last season when Breesus was out injured. And Winston “will learn more football in a year than he has in his lifetime,” according to general manager Jeff Ireland. Winston led the league in passing yards (5,109), and was in TDs (33) but also had a league-worst 30 picks.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The additions of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have improved the Bucs’ odds at the best online sportsbooks. “What you want to do when you got an older quarterback is you want to make sure he’s protected and he feels protected,” NFL Hall of Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe observed. And Tampa Bay did just that with their first round selection, 13th overall pick, offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs. The Iowa product was named the 2019 Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year. He only gave up two quarterback hits all season. And his run-blocking improved greatly during his junior season.

The new and improved Bucs have even gotten Saints head coach Sean Payton’s attention. “I say this in all seriousness,” he said, “there’s only about 10 or 11 relevant teams. . . . When someone like Tom comes there, it’s not just the quarterback position. The thing as a coach in the division that concerns you, is you know just the standard’s going to change [in Tampa], and I think that’s a credit to the really, really, really special players.”

Odds to Win the NFC South:

New Orleans Saints +100
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +140
Atlanta Falcons +700
Carolina Panthers +1400

Atlanta Falcons

Focused on defense during the draft, as they should have. Atlanta drafted a cornerback, a defensive end, and a linebacker and a safety in the first, second, and fourth rounds, respectively. The Falcons then proceeded to upgrade their offense with 20 undrafted free agents. Notoriously, the only running back in the bunch is Mikey Daniel. Atlanta as a whole rushed for 85.1 yards per game (30th in the league) last season. That was the only offensive category in which they did not rank in the top 15.

However, that should change now that Todd Gurley has left Los Angeles for the Lost City of Atlanta. Gurley had, at least by his own standards, an off year in 2019. His contract, though, includes $500,000 in incentives if he reaches 13 touchdowns or 1,000 rushing yards. That’s what I call motivation. Whether it will motivate users of top offshore betting sites remains to be seen.

Carolina Panthers

The Panthers focused even more so on defense than the Falcons, drafting nothing but defensive players with their six selections. And no wonder; only one team allowed more points per game than Carolina last season. On offense, the Panthers have replaced Cam Newton with the aforementioned Bridgewater. Teddy B-H2O surely hopes to parlay his successful New Orleans into a full-fledged return to form.

Our Pick:  It will be awesome having Breesus, Matty Ice and the GOAT in the same division. That said, the Bucs are not the Pats. And The Falcons aren’t same team either that challenged the Patriots for supremacy. Therefore, customers of top offshore betting sites should stick with the Saints.
