Top offshore sportsbooks favor the Indianapolis Colts to win the AFC South division. If they did, that would be their first divisional title since 2014. The Colts have acquired new and old-new players at skill positions. Indy selected wide receiver Michael Pittman and running back Jonathan Taylor, both in the second round of the draft. Pittman finished the 2019 regular season with 95 receptions for 1,222 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Indianapolis Colts

He was named first team All-Pac-12 and a consensus second team All-America selection. Taylor finished his college career ranking fourth on the all-time NCAA FBS career rushing yards leaderboard (6,174 yards). They will joined established receiver and back TY Hilton and Marlon Mack. And, as we all know, the Colts sign Philip Rivers following Andrew Luck’s retirement. Jacoby Brissett, Chad Kelly, and rookie Jacob Eason will compete to see who gets to be Rivers’s backup.

Tennessee Titans

The best online sportsbooks have the Tennessee Titans as the second best bet to win the AFC South. The Titans resigned the 2019 Comeback Player of the Year, QB Ryan Tannehill. Tannehill had career-highs in completion percentage (70.3), yards-per-pass (9.6), and passer rating (117.5), a category in which he also led the league. He also played in the postseason for the first time in his career. Tennessee selected LSU cornerback Kristian Fulton in the second round, a position where they were lacking depth.

The 6-foot, 197-pound Fulton ran a 4.46 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine. And excelled at covering faster receivers in college.  His presence is a direct response to the Titans’ lack of speed in the secondary. Tennessee also drafted running back Darrynton Evans, meant to keep up the pace whenever Derrick Henry is off the field. Additionally, Evans has been accustomed to returning punts and lining up at slot receiver.

Houston Texans

The Houston Texans are third in line, according to top offshore sportsbooks. In his first draft as general manager, head coach Bill O’Brien made three trades on Saturday and ended up with five picks with the potential to contribute as rookies.

Defensive tackle Ross Blacklock, outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard, offensive tackle Charlie Heck, cornerback John Reid and receiver Isaiah Coulter. “We targeted certain guys in the draft and obviously we didn’t get all of them, you never do, but we were able to get five that we really liked and I feel really good about that,” O’Brien said. “Relative to the free agents that are still out there, that’s why I’m saying there’s still a lot of opportunities to build the roster in different ways as we head on down the road here.” The Texans have also signed free agent wide receiver Brandin Cooks.

Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jags hope to address their defensive woes with cornerback CJ Henderson, linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson, and defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton. Jax focused on defensive players in the draft, of which those three are the top examples. The Jags also selected Jake Luton in the sixth round and traded a fifth round pick to the Steeler for Joshua Dobbs.

They will compete with Gardner Minshew for the starting QB spot. That is, of course, if the Jaguars don’t sign free agent Cam Newton. Jacksonville, Las Vegas, and New England are the three likeliest destinations for Newton, to a greater or lesser extent. However, word on the street is that the Jags are counting on Minshew to realize the promise he showed last season.

Our Pick: Top offshore sportsbooks might give Jax better odds if they signed Newton. But not that much better. Rivers and the Colts is a perfect match to win the division.
