NFL gambling sites favor the Jags over the Giants by a three-point field goal when the New York Giants and the Jacksonville Jaguars play in week 7 NFL pro American football action at TIAA Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The surprise-giving New York Giants (5-1 SU, 5-1 ATS) are looking for their 4th consecutive win this week when they take a trip to pay a visit to the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-4, 2-4). Following a drama-filled victory over the Baltimore Ravens team, the Giants will be looking to keep up the good work that they have been doing as of late. They are going to attempt to give chase to the unbeaten Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East division.
The Jaguars opened as 2.5-point faves. Early betting action at the best online sportsbooks has moved the line to Jacksonville -3. In spite of the movement that is favoring the home team, it is the NY Giants who have taken command of many of the bets. 91% of people who bet favor the G-Men on the road away from home.

Betting NY Giants
The Giants team defense were able to hold Lamar Jackson and his team the Baltimore Ravens to only 2 touchdowns in New York’s 24-20 win at their home field last week. The Giants also held Jackson to only 210 passing yards through the air and 77 rushing yards on the ground.
They forced a late fumble turnover to put the game in the cooler. Daniel Jones managed to connect on 19 of 27 thrown passes for 173 passing yards and two touchdown scores. Saquon Barkley would continue his impressive return season.
He went on to carry the ball 22 times for 83 rushing yards and a TD score. However, the New York wide receiver unit remains a non-entity. They have to step up for the Giants to be able to keep their winning streak alive and well.
They will face a Jacksonville squad that just allowed the Colts to stomp all over them. This presents a very good opportunity for the New York offensive attack to take advance by leaps and bounds and relieve a little bit of all of the pressure on the defense on the road playing away from their home stadium.
The Giants defensive players continue to be impressive. It is about time for the offensive attack to follow suit and be impressive as well. After the Jaguars ended up surrendering 34 points to a Colts offensive attack that is struggling, the Giants should be in line for a great big game. Not only to cover the point spread at NFL gambling sites but also to win outright and thus improve to 6-1 on the 2022 season.
Betting Jacksonville
The Jaguars team secondary will have a very much easier matchup this week. They will have to keep the Giants’ receiver corps in check. If the defensive play finds a way to keep this game a low-scoring contest, Lawrence will be more than capable of outmatching his counterpart Jones and help the Jags to end their 3-game losing streak.
The Jaguars team foolishly allowed a last-minute touchdown score on the road in Week 6. They lost 34-27 to division rival Indianapolis Colts. They slipped to 2-4 on the 2022 season. The good news is that they will be returning home this week.
That is where they have a record of 1-1 in two games played there. Trevor Lawrence was an efficient player but he was hardly an effective one in Indianapolis. He went 20-for-22 passing through the air for 165 passing yards and a touchdown score. Travis Etienne at long last provided something for the Jaguars. The former Clemson Tiger player had a chance to rush the ball 10 times for 86 rushing yards. That includes a 48-yard sprint.
Tight end Evan Engram will be facing his former team this week. He continues to be a sensation. Also he made 5 catches for 40 yards versus the Colts. He also led the team with 6 targets. While the offensive attack was able to score 27 points on the other team’s end zone, the defense let Matt Ryan throw for three touchdown scores and almost 400 yards.
The Colts had 3 receivers who caught seven or more passes. They were led by Michael Pittman. He would make 13 grabs for 134 yards. With New York’s receivers having yet to break through, this will likely be the battle to keep a watch on in Jacksonville. The Jags secondary could be the one factor that makes or breaks their chances to go ahead and improve to 3-4 and remain in the hunt in the AFC South division.
