Betting Stipe Miocic

Miocic is the defending champion but that doesn’t necessarily make him the fave at the best online sportsbooks. The champ is aware of the smaller Octagon where he will fight Cormier. He knows it probably behooves his opponent, not himself. But Miocic does not think it will have an impact on the outcome. Miocic will face Cormier for the third time, with the series tied at one win each. The heavyweight title bout will take place in the UFC’s smaller 25-foot Octagon. And not the standard 30-foot Octagon.

Generally speaking, a smaller cage tends to favor a wrestler. Cormier is a former U.S. Olympic grappler. Miocic, who beat Cormier by fourth-round TKO in the second match in August 2019, said he’d rather a normal-sized cage. However, he will be comfortable. “A bigger cage is better of course,” Miocic told ESPN. “It is what it is. I’m not going to cry about it. I definitely tried to get a bigger cage, but it wasn’t in the cards. What are you gonna do? I’m not worried. My [gym’s] cage is the same size, and I’ve been working on everything.”

Miocic has also expressed concern about DC’s infamous “unintentional” eye pokes. He is aware of the damage they can do to a fighter in a match. “I think it’s a concern in any fight, you know, you don’t want to get your eye poked, it’s not fun. It hurts. It definitely can mess with your vision.”

Betting Daniel Cormier

Cormier is the challenger but that doesn’t mean he is the underdog of the best offshore sports betting sites. Win, lose or draw, many believe, Cormier included, that this will be DC’s retirement match. And of course, he wants to go out on a high note. Dana White would be open to Cormier prolonging his career, but DC feels it’s his time to ride off into the sunset.

“I just believe that, at a point, I have to say money is money, and I’ve made a lot of it, and there’s going to always be more money,” Cormier told MMA Junkie. “If it’s in my heart that this is it, then I have to stand firm in that knowing there’s going to be opportunities. You can be the best in the world, and you can always be the best in the world until you’re not.

“Eventually some time and someone will catch up to you, and I’m just making sure I get the chance to go out on top. I’ve won a lot. I’ve been a lucky guy in the sport, and the ability and opportunity to go out on top is unheard of. We see Georges St-Pierre constantly getting asked to come back and just the other day he says, ‘I went out on top. People don’t get that.’ I have that opportunity, and I think if I can complete this task, it’s as big as anything I’ve ever done.”

Stipe Miocic vs Daniel Cormier UFC 252 Pick

There is no denying Cormier’s legacy. But there’s also that nagging thought that he might have eye-poked his way to the top. Moreover, I tend to agree with Mike Bisping; Stipe is a handsome bastard. I don’t think he’ll let DC ruined that pretty face with another thumb to the eye. All things considered, users of the best offshore sports betting sites should side with the champ.
