Betting Hannah Cifers

Shockwave has been labeled the underdog by the best online sportsbooks. Cifers has split her last four fights. She is coming off a TKO (elbows and punches) loss to Angela Hill at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. dos Santos on January 25, 2020 (2nd round, 4:26) in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. Cifers lost his professional debut to Heather Clark. She has gone 8-3 since with the other two losses coming in 2017 to Gillian Robertson and 2018 to Maycee Barber. Cifers avoid 54% of strikes and 64% of takedowns aimed at her.

Betting Mackenzie Dern

Dern is best betting sites’ fave entering the match. She is 7-1 overall and 2-1 in the UFC. Dern is coming off her first professional defeat, a decision (unanimous) loss to Amanda Ribas at UFC Fight Night: Joanna vs. Waterson on October 12, 2019 in Tampa, Florida, United States. She has four wins by submission (2 RNC, armbar) and three first-round finishes. Dern is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Her favorite grappling technique is leg locks/toe holds. What to know about Mackenzie Dern

Dern was originally slated to meet Ariane Carnelossi on April 25. However, the event was canceled. That gave her an extra month to prepare to enter the octagon. “I was coming off a bit of a messy camp, not an ideal camp, and my fight was canceled,” Dern said. “My opponent was changed and they confirmed a new one, but, honestly, I am getting ready. It’s crazy because I’m used to this type of training now. It was very difficult for my first fight, everything was so new, but I’ve been training like this for two months now. However, I’m still not 100 percent confident the fight will happen or not. I’m waiting to see if the week of 9, 13, and 16, if the three events will happen, and then, ‘OK, it will happen.’ But I’m focused as it’s happening. I’m training as hard as possible.”

Mackenzie Dern back to jiu-jitsu

Dern’s loss to Ribas came just four months after the former had birthed her daughter. “The doctor said I was cleared, but it was earlier than recommended for high-level competition,” Dern said. “So, I came back early in jiu-jitsu just to get the ring rust out of the way and I felt like that really helped me. When I came back, I fought in the Pan American championships and I got second, but I felt good, and it was good for me to get the confidence back with my knee.

“And then I felt I was ready, and I came back and I won the Worlds a couple months later. Of course I wanted to win (the Pan Ams) and I did everything I could to win, but I felt like it was important for me to get that out of the way and not have my first competition back be such a big tournament like the world championships.”

Our Pick:

All things considered, we can chalk Dern’s first loss up to pretty much just having had a baby. Must children ruin everything? Now that she has presumably recovered for bringing forth another being into this miserable world, I’m going to have to side with the best betting sites on this one.
