Betting NY Giants

New York had a 7-4 overall record after having played 11 games this year. They only lost to the Cowboys, the Seahawks, the Lions and the Cowboys again. In the last six games of the season, the Giants have gone 2-3-1 with defeats to the Eagles, the Vikings and the Eagles again (as well as a tie with Washington).

In Sunday’s game versus the Eagles, the Giants were losing 16 points to nothing at halftime. New York had a 16 points to six points rally in the second half but they could not come back and ended up losing 22 points to 16 points. Davis Webb passed for one hundred and sixty eight (168) passing yards and a scoring TD. Gary Brightwell rushed for sixty (60) rushing yards on 11 carries of the ball.

Betting Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings had a 9-2 overall record after having played 11 football games on the year. Minnesota lost to the Eagles and the Cowboys in that period. In the last six games there was a 4-2 stretch for the Vikings with wins against the Jets, the Colts, the Giants and the Bears.

Going up against da Bears in the last week of the 2022 regular season, Minnesota went on to outscore Chicago 16points to 6 points in the first half. The Vikings scored another 13 points in the second half of the football game for a win 29 points to 13 points. Kirk Cousins passed for two hundred and twenty five (225) passing yards through the air with a scoring TD. Alexander Mattison rushed 10 times for 54 rushing yards on the ground and two touchdown scores.

The Giants improved on their 2021 win total following a Week 6 win over the Baltimore Ravens. With a win against the Washington Commanders in week 15, they secured their first non-losing season since 2016, as well as their first season since 2009 in which they did not have a losing record at any point.

The Giants earned a playoff spot and a winning record for the first time since the 2016 season with a Week 17 win against the Indianapolis Colts. They finished 9-7-1. They will be the 6th seed in the NFC. Also they will play the Minnesota Vikings in the wild card round.

New York Giants vs. Minnesota Vikings Pick

According to the best online sportsbooks, New York has gone 4-0 ATS against the spread in their last four games overall and 4-0 ATS against the spread in their last four road games on the road.
The Giants have gone 5-1 ATS against the spread playing versus a team with a winning record. The Vikings have gone 1-4 ATS against the spread in their last five games overall and 2-8-1 ATS against the spread in their last 11 games playing versus the NFC. Minnesota has gone 1-4 ATS against the spread in their last five games after a straight-up win.

We will probably take Minnesota. This one is a doozy, though; the Vikings have been having close calls all season long and it is likely that this is going to be a pretty tight game. The last time that these two teams clashed was just a little while ago on December 24.

Minnesota snatched a thrilling 27 points to 24 points victory at home in spite of collecting two turnovers. They held New York to just 3-of-11 on third-down conversions. This one is going to be another knock-down drag-out fight but we think that the Vikings can get the job done.

As for New York, their benchwarmers crew did a good job against Philadelphia on Sunday. That will help them a lot in getting a fresh team on the gridiron for this matchup and that bodes really well for the Blue Boys. One could easily make a good case for New York covering the spread at betting sites for NFL and even winning here. It Should be a great game nonetheless.
