Betting NY Giants

The Giants have dropped the last three games with the Cowboys. They have also have lost five straight to their division rivals on the road. This one could be additionally tough if one considers that quarterback Daniel Jones has just lost another one of his top targets.

Wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson would suffer a torn ACL in last week’s loss to the Detroit Lions. Robinson was a target of Jones 13 times versus Detroit. He went on to haul in 9 of those targets for 100 receiving yards in what ended up being the final football game of his rookie season.

Jones will now have to rely on Darius Slayton, Richie James and Kenny Golladay. James has also been dealing with an injured knee. Thus, the receiving unit of wide receivers could become even thinner by Thursday.

New York’s defense disappointed the team last week. They cannot afford to allow Dallas to get off to a quick start on Thanksgiving. The Giants have had a lot of trouble from a defensive standpoint in this series as of late.

On the offensive attack, they need running back Saquon Barkley to go ahead and step up with a superior effort to that of last week. Then he had a total of 22 rushing yards on the ground on 15 carries of the ball. The key is going to be to eat up time and keep the Dallas offense out of the field.

Betting Dallas Cowboys

Dallas appeared to be unstoppable on the two sides of the ball at Minnesota. They crushed a team that had just beat Buffalo on the road in an overtime nailbiter. Motivation should not be difficult to muster for the Cowboys, in particular since they are going to be playing an NFC East division opponent with the second place at stake.

Prescott’s gameplay is the most important factor for the home team. He needs to once more keep turnovers to a minimum and to involve his receivers soon and often for yet another quick start.

Dallas got erstwhile leading rusher Zeke Elliott back from an injured knee at Minnesota. He helped top running back Tony Pollard with 2 touchdown runs from the 1-yard line. Pollard has become one of the most lethal running backs in the league. He was one of the main players versus the Vikings with 15 carries of the ball for 80 rushing yards on the ground and 6 catches for 109 receiving yards, plus two touchdown scores.

The other main player was kicker Brett Maher. He did boot 4 field goals. That included 3 from 50 yards or more. Dak Prescott played well for the Cowboys as well. He completed 22 of 25 passes for 276 passing yards with the two TDs to Pollard and no picks. That was after he threw two picks the prior week in a 31-28 OT road loss to the Green Bay Packers.
