Louisiana Tech officially accepted the invitation to play in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl scheduled for 2 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday, December 23, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La. The Bulldogs will play against first-time opponent Georgia Southern (7-5, 4-4 Sun Belt) in a contest aired nationally on ESPN.
