The Clemson Tigers have gone 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in their last five games versus the Duke Blue Devils. The Tigers will be looking to keep up that superiority over their ACC rivals with a win on the road against the Blue Devils this Monday night in Durham.
A record of 11-3 SU and 7-7 ATS and a conference title would be a dream season for most teams in the country, but for Clemson anything less than the best is a felony (shoutout to Vanilla Ice). The Tigers have not made it to the College Football Playoff in consecutive seasons after they did so six times in a row and captured two national championships.
DJ Uiagalelei was not able to do the deed as the Tigers’ starting QB in the last two seasons. He transferred to Oregon State during the offseason. In 2023, the pressure is going to be on true sophomore QB Cade Klubnik as well as new offensive coordinator Garrett Riley to kickstart this offense.
Consistency has been Clemson’s major issue in the last two seasons. The Tigers have the skill to go toe to toe with the best teams in the nation, but they have also lost five games where College Football sportsbooks favored them to win in the past three seasons.

We are leaning towards Clemson. Duke wasn’t challenged enough in 2022 in terms of high-caliber opposition. Granted, they defeated Wake Forest and got a bowl win against UCF, but it’s just tough to feel confident about a week 1 matchup with Clemson, even with home-field advantage.
