The best NFL gambling sites favor the Bills over the Ravens when the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens play in week 4 of NFL action at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Fresh off an upset loss to the Dolphins, the Buffalo Bills meet another stiff road challenge as they visit the Baltimore Ravens, who score many points. Baltimore have won the past five matchups in Baltimore. They are 15-3-1 ATS in their past 19 as a home dog.

After they lost last week in Miami as four-point road faves, the best online sportsbooks opened the Bills in the same price range for Sunday’s visit to Baltimore. The Ravens have covered the point spread set by the best NFL gambling sites at six of their past seven as home dogs of a field goal or more. They won four of those games outright.

Betting Buffalo Bills

Can Buffalo win a tight game? Even though the Bills are 7-2 SU and 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine dating back to last season, that’s the question mark many ask following Buffalo’s 21-19 loss last week to Miami. The loss was the Bills’ sixth consecutive in games decided by 7 points or less. Each of their past 20 wins were by 10 points or more. Even though they are without several staples on both sides of the football, Buffalo outyarded the Dolphins 497-212. That includes 400 passing yards from Josh Allen.

But they couldn’t overcome a few key mental and physical issues. Some of those mistakes were made by backup players on the offensive line. That’s a situation that could remain this week after starter Tommy Doyle sustained a torn ACL.

The defense is also bruised up. Cornerback Christian Benford is the latest to come down after he suffered a broken hand versus the Dolphins. Key defensive players Jordan Poyer, Ed Oliver and Jordan Phillips did sit out the game in Miami with sundry ailments. Their condition for Sunday was unclear as this writing.

Buffalo has been punting just 4 times in their first 3 games. The Bills could have no difficulties to move the ball once more time against this Ravens defense that struggles. So long as Buffalo doesn’t lose the ball over or commit mental errors like it did in Miami, the Bills do have the power of fire to push away from the Ravens.

Bills Stats

The Buffalo Bills will be trying to bounce back from a 21-19 losing effort to Miami for their original loss of the season. They fell to 2-1 on the season as an outcome. Josh Allen has passed for 1,014 yards, nine touchdowns and two interceptions on 71.2% completion.
He also leads the Bills on the flat green surface with 113 yards rushing this season. Stefon Diggs has 27 grabbings of the ball for 344 yards and four scores. Isaiah McKenzie and Gabriel Davis both have 100-more receiving yards as well this campaign. On defense matters, Taron Johnson has a team-best 20 total tackles. Greg Rousseau has a team-best 3.5 sacks this season.

Betting Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens will be trying to build on their 37-26 win against New England the last time out in order to improve to 2-1 on the season. Lamar Jackson has passed for 749 yards, ten touchdowns and two interceptions on 63.6% completion. He is also leading the Ravens on the grass with 243 yards rushing and two touchdowns this year. Mark Andrews does lead Baltimore with 22 grabbings of the ball for 245 yards and a triad of touchdowns.

Rashod Bateman has 226 yards receiving with two scores. Devin Duvernay has 121 yards from receiving the ball and three TDs as well on the season. On defense plays, Marcus Williams has a team-best 27 total tackles which includes 21 solo tackles. Justin Houston has two of sackings as well this year.

Baltimore is in history at its better when they catch points on its home stadium. They have gone a steaming 15-3-1 ATS in its past 19 as a dog at M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens are able to beat opponents with their passing or the running could also render things very difficult for an undermanned Buffalo defensive roster.

Perhaps the Ravens did know what they did when they did not opt to extend Lamar Jackson’s contract prior to the season beginning. Jackson plays like a motivated player. He is throwing 4 touchdown passes and he is running for another TD week while the Ravens scored 37 points to the Patriots.

Through 3 weeks of the season, Baltimore leads the league with 99 points scored and an average of 6.87 yards gained per play. While the offense play is vibrating, there’s cause for worry around a defense roster that has surrendered 68 points in its past two games. Baltimore surrendered 447 yards to New England’s attack but was saved by four Patriots TOs.
