The Syracuse Orange might have bitten off more than they can chew as they’re scheduled to face the Duke Blue Devils this Friday. It’s called the Sweet Sixteen round but the outcome won’t be so sweet for one of the two. So just how lopsided of a finish are the night’s offshore sportsbook betting odds predicting?

The Orange made their way into this year’s tournament action off of a First Four draw. In that pre-tournament matchup, Syracuse faced Arizona State in a 60-56 winning battle. Following that triumph, the Orange were matched up against TCU in the First Round. Syracuse struggled but managed to defeat their opponent 57-52. Afterwards, the Orange managed to survive yet again versus Michigan State 55-53. But now, facing Duke, Syracuse is facing its steepest odds yet. We’ll have to see how big of a fight they can put up.

Duke turned in yet another highly successful season this year, to no one’s surprise. The Blue Devils finished the year with a 28-7 record that included a 13-5 performance in ACC play. Although they were eliminated by the Tar Heels in the ACC Tournament, Duke got their revenge by managing to outlive UNC in this tournament. For all intents and purposes, the Blue Devils have been unchallenged in this year’s tourney. They beat Iona 89-67 in the First Round and Rhode Island 87-62 in the second. By the looks of it, the odds are predicting another blowout. Syracuse’s defense might have something to say about that however.
