Betting Team LeBron
Team LeBron is the favorite at the best online sportsbooks. LeBron was the first player to pick in the All-Star draft. He did not hesitate to select Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks. The Lakers’ King then picked Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors with his second selection. He then proceeded to choose Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan with his third pick.
Bron completed his starting lineup with 2021 MVP Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets. With these selections, James will play with almost the same starting five as he did in last season’s All-Star game. Last year, James likewise picked Giannis and Steph at no. 1 and no. 2. As well as Jokic at no. 5.
The only difference is that he picked DeRozan in lieu of Doncic this time around. However, James still resorted to Doncic as his top reserve. Additionally, James drafted Chris Paul, Jimmy Butler, Donovan Mitchell, Fred VanVleet, and James Harden. Harden was the final pick of the All-Star draft. Durant favored Rudy Gobert’s height and size over his erstwhile Nets teammate for his final pick.
Betting Team Durant
Team Durant is the underdog at top sportsbooks online. Durant picked Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers as his first selection. Embiid is the current +240 odds on favorite at top sportsbooks online to win the 2022 NBA MVP award.
For his second pick, KD selected the Memphis Grizzlies’ guard Ja Morant. He went with Atlanta’s Trae Young and Golden State’s Andrew Wiggins. The fifth starter for Team Durant is Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics. He will replace the injured KD.
KD’s reserves are Phoenix Suns sharpshooter Devin Booker, Minnesota’s Karl Anthony-Towns, Chicago’s Zach LaVine, San Antonio’s Dejounte Murray, Milwaukee’s Khris Middleton, 2021 NBA Rookie of the Year winner LaMelo Ball of Charlotte, and Utah’s Gobert.
Durant’s squad will feature former Minnesota Timberwolves teammates Karl Anthony-Towns, Andrew Wiggins, and Zach LaVine teaming up in the All-Star game. The addition of Morant and Young in the starting lineup gives Durant a much quicker team in the game. With two players remaining in the pool, KD chose Rudy Gobert over his once-teammate James Harden.
