This is another race where we usually see the Europeans dominating. They have won this race in three out of the last four years. They have a top candidate in Kinross. He has won his last 2 Group 1s and he has struck up a fearsome connection with elite jockey Frankie Dettori.
However, it is another British-trained runner the one who is going to be the chalk here. That is none other than Godolphin’s Modern Games. He managed to produce a 112 Beyer when he won stateside two runs back.
He was defeated the last time by another British-trained runner: Bayside Boy ( who is not certain to run). But what they have to worry about is the heavy hitter Annapolis. He who looks like he will be a strong closer in this one. He could be a even bigger price on the oddsboards on Saturday.
