The best offshore gambling sites are always keen on Alabama Crimson. Having six players drafted in the first round is quite a blow. But for head coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide, it’s just business as usual.
The defending champions lost six starters in the first round. But they have la crem de la creme as far as five-star recruits go. Their win total is 11.5 at +100 at the best online sportsbooks. This means that you’re going to need another perfect regular season to win that bet.
Our preseason best bet would be Bryce Young at +1000 for the Heisman trophy. After going into Gator Nation and getting the W in week 3 on national television this number won’t go higher than +500 for the rest of the season. This gives us some nice line value.
Young will head right into the perfect scenario with a top 10 offensive line, top 10 defense, and a plethora of talented offensive playmakers.

ALABAMA CRIMSON ODDS TO WIN 2021 SEC CHAMPIONSHIP (-125)
The current champions are the favorites of the best offshore gambling sites to repeat and win their second straight SEC championship. They have won five of the past seven SEC titles. That includes last year’s 52-46 win over Florida.
Georgia and Texas A&M come second and third on the oddsboards. Alabama will only face A&M during the regular season. This means they circumvent their biggest competition for the title. If you believe in Bryce
Young, then this looks like a great wager. If you still have doubts, then you should be able to get some reasonable lines in the regular season.
ALABAMA ODDS TO WIN 2021-22 COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF (+225)
Most of the best offshore gambling sites have a line around +300. This is a number that we are fading. We believe in the Crimson Tide and they are faves for a reason. But laying such a small number on a season-long future isn’t something that interests us.
Alabama will encounter many tough challenges this season with Florida and Texas A&M on the road. Should they lose either game or even struggle to win, then your preseason future might not be better than the number available in a week eight.
If Alabama breezes through the season and looks like the best peogram in Football, there remains a great likelihood that you can get +150 much closer to the championship with more confidence. In general, we love Alabama but it’s all about the cold, hard numbers, and there is too much uncertainty this early in the preseason.
ALABAMA 2021 HEISMAN CONTENDERS and ODDS
Contenders | Odds |
---|---|
BRYCE YOUNG | +650 |
BRIAN ROBINSON, JR. | +4000 |
JASE MCCLELLAN | +6600 |
JOHN METCHIE | +6600 |
Since 2000, 16 of the 20 winners have been quarterbacks. Three of the four exceptions were Alabama alumni. DeVonta Smith won it last year and he was the only receiver on the list. Mark Ingram and Derrick Henry won it as running backs.
Alabama isn’t known for producing NFL QB talent. But they have worked hard to buck that trend recently with first-round draft picks Mac Jones and Tua Tagovailoa. Jase McClellan is a very talented running back. He carved out a solid niche for himself last season with limited work and on special teams. Going with a QB would be the safest bet. Alabama has been known to be the exception to the rule, but it’s hard to see a skill position player winning back-to-back.
