Lewis Hamilton

Ham is the favorite of the best online sportsbooks. He won the 2016 edition of the race. Additionally, he has finished 2nd in 2014 and 2015. Fourth in 2017. And fifth last year. He retired early in 2018. Hamilton led the standings for most of the 2019 season. He outraced challengers such as Bottas, Verstappen and Leclerc. Ham clinched his sixth drivers’ crown at the 2019 United States Grand Prix. Following his sixth career grand slam in the final race of the season, Hamilton finished with 11 wins. That matched his previous best in 2014 and 2018. He also had 17 podiums, matching the all-time record for a fourth time. Hamilton achieved five pole positions. His total of 413 points for the season set a new all-time record. The Brit finished 87 points ahead of second-placed Bottas.

Max Verstappen

The Belgian-Dutch is the best offshore gambling sites’ second favorite. As mentioned above, he has won the last two editions of the race back-to-back. He came in second in 2016 and 8th in 2015. He retired from the race in 2017. Verstappen finished the 2019 season in 3rd place in the championship with 278 points. That is the best result of his career so far. He won three race, and had nine podium finishes, two pole positions and three fastest laps.

“Max will be up for it. Don’t forget he’s won there in Austria, twice. I think Red Bull will be looking at taking chances, doing risky strategies – they’ve got nothing to lose”, former F1 driver and champion Damon Hill said. “I would put Red Bull as the nearest challengers to Mercedes [rather than Ferrari]. Max has form, and in pre-season testing, certainly on the long runs and qualy one-lappers, they looked closer to Mercedes than Ferrari.”

Charles Leclerc

Leclerc was the 2019 Austrian Grand Prix runner-up. He finished 9th the year prior. Leclerc finished the 2019 season in 4th place in the championship with 264 points, ahead of teammate Vettel. In his first season with Ferrari, he had ten podiums, two wins, four fastest laps and the most pole positions of any driver that year with seven. Leclerc became the first non-Mercedes driver to win the Pole Position Award. He became the first Monégasque to win a Formula One World Championship Grand Prix.

“How great was that, getting back on track for real,” he said. “I’d missed it! Even though I’ve been pretty busy with virtual racing during this long break, I needed to once again get that physical impression of speed. “Being able to drive on such a spectacular track as Mugello, for the first time at the wheel of a Formula 1 car, helped to make this day even more memorable. Now, we’re looking ahead to the season and as from next week, things get serious!”

Sebastian Vettel

This is our final best offshore gambling sites’ candidate. Vettel placed second in 2017, 3rd in 2018, 4th in 2015 and 2019, and retired in 2014 and 2016. Vettel finished 2019 fifth in the Drivers’ Championship. Leclerc became the second teammate in Vettel’s career to outscore him in a season.
