September 10 is going to be a great day to be Golladay. Betting sites for NFL favor the Detroit Lions by seven points against the New York Jets. And according to PFF, second-year wide receiver Kenny Golladay will play a major role in 2018. There is one caveat, though. He has to remain consistent throughout the season. Golladay hit the ground running in his rookie season. He had four receptions for 69 yards and two touchdowns in his debut, which was also the Lions season opener. However, a strained hamstring kept him out for five games. Golladay returned in week 10. He finished 2017 with 28 receptions for 477 receiving yards and three touchdown receptions in 11 games and five starts.

Betting New York

Betting sites for NFL have The Jets pegged as seven-point underdogs. And they are looking like such at practice. They made the Giants look like Patriots. Which led veteran nose tackle Steve McLendon to have a Network moment. As in he was as mad as hell and he was not gonna take this anymore. “I didn’t feel the vibe at practice. I just blew up, man,” he said. “I took a stand. And I wanted the defense to understand that, ‘Look, man, we are here for a certain period of time, and we are here for one reason, and that’s to get better every single day. In order to go where we’re trying to go, it’s gonna take however many guys on that defense and however many guys on that offense to clock in every day.”

McLendon believes “something special” can happen this season. Sure, this season will be chock full of special somethings. Oh, he meant for the Jets. Maybe that something special is rookie QB Sam Darnold. “I think he’s a perfect fit for the organization,” former Jets wide receiver Wayne Chrebet said of Darnold. “Be the quarterback for the next 10 years. This could be the guy we’ve been looking for for a while.”

Betting Detroit

Even when healthy, Golladay only showed greatness in spurts. The good news is that his second season would have to be terrible to be a sophomore slump. And even better news, he’s approaching his second year with great hunger for knowledge. “All the little things,” Golladay said. “Routes, catching the ball, run after the catch, tucking the ball away.” Also, all the small things, true care truth brings, I’ll take one lift, your ride best trip. Anyway, it behooves Golladay that he can pick the brains of Matt Stafford, Golden Tate, and Marvin Jones. In particular, Jones is a sort of mentor, being a fellow deep threat. Not to be confused with Deep Throat.

All things considered, “”Golladay will see an increase in snaps played and total targets in 2018,” says PFF. And that “will likely lead to more spectacular sideline grabs and diving touchdowns.” As long, of course as he remains healthy. He had a pretty good season-opening game last season. Let’s see how he does against the Jets.
